Sean has a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Applied Physics and is a qualified CPA, having spent his early career with Arthur Andersen in their London and Milan offices. Sean then moved into the private sector in London, heading up the corporate finance/M&A department for Forte Hotels PLC and, subsequently, WH Smith PLC. In 1998, he moved with his family to Atlanta, GA, initially as CFO and subsequently as CEO of WH Smith PLC’s US retail operations which, at the time, operated over 600 retail stores in airports and the full-service lodging sector across the United States, Caribbean and South America. In 2004, he, together with his business partner, Richard Manhire, completed a management buyout of WH Smith PLC’s full-service US lodging operations, creating Travel Traders LLC. Sean continues to be responsible for the company’s day-to-day operations and strategic development.
Richard has a bachelor’s degree in Money, Banking & Finance, a master’s degree in Urban and Regional Studies and a second master’s degree in Economics. Richard is a qualified CPA also having worked and trained with Arthur Andersen in the UK, after which he joined investment bank SG Hambros working in their M&A division. Richard subsequently held several senior finance positions at WH Smith PLC in London before joining Sean to complete the buyout of WH Smith PLC’s US full-service lodging operations. Richard currently serves as the company’s Chief Financial Officer/Chief Operating Officer, with additional responsibilities for information technology and legal matters.
Tricia has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Missouri. Following her graduation, she subsequently held several finance positions with WH Smith USA’s travel and hospitality retail businesses. Tricia has been with Travel Traders since 2004 and currently holds the position of Vice President of Finance. In her role, Tricia also oversees employee payroll and benefits administration for the company, including the company’s 401(k) and related plans.
Andy has overall responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the company’s 190 stores and direct operational responsibility for the eastern United States. Andy is also responsible for the company’s HR and Loss Prevention functions. Andy joined the company upon its founding in 2004.
Andy has many years of experience in retail operations, having worked for a number of large retail organizations in both the UK and the US.
Ann Kuszajewski has direct responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the company’s stores located in the western United States, including the State of Hawaii. Ann has been in her position since the founding of the company in 2004.
Prior to joining Travel Traders, Ann was Vice President Operations at the retailer Sgt. Leisure, having previously served in a number of retail positions with the The Gap/Old Navy.
Jeremiah heads up the company’s design, construction, procurement and store maintenance department. A qualified architect with over 20 years experience in the hospitality and retail sectors, Jeremiah worked for a number of international architectural and design firms, including FRCH Design Worldwide and Interbrand/Design Forum, before joining Travel Traders in 2018.
